Open a file and write.

Most Markdown tools ask you to pick a knowledge base, a split preview, or a paid editor with one job. TenLing is the quiet one. Headings, lists, tasks, tables, code, images, and links format where you type. A slash opens a block menu. $…$ and $$…$$ set math with KaTeX, in the page and on the slides.

When you present, H1 and H2 become the deck. The deck is the document, so there is no second file to keep in sync. Press ⌘⇧P, or Ctrl+Shift+P. Esc leaves. Arrow keys move.

Your files live in a folder you choose. There is no vault. A longer note lives on the shelf.

Write: Toolbar and the usual shortcuts. Light, dark, or follow the system.
Math: Inline and display formulas, typeset while you edit and when you present.
Present: Headings become slides. The document is the only copy.
Files: An outline for the open file, and the Markdown in the folder beside it.
Find: Search the open document with ⌘F or Ctrl+F.
Export: HTML, PDF, or Word. Updates arrive signed from GitHub Releases.

Install

macOS, Linux, and Windows. TenLing uses the system web view instead of shipping a browser. The editor is TipTap. Slides are Remotion.
